Chigga asked:
Traditionally sports cars only have two seats, have a stiff suspension and are meant to accelerate. GT cars or Gran Touring cars are meant to be relatively fast but comfortable for long journies. The problem is The G35 is based on a real sports car, the 350Z. Although the suspension for the G is softer, it is still stiff, and the acceleration is comparable to the Z….so what is it? Sports car or GT car?
I am going with GT.

You might as well say its a sports car, look at the size of the backseat. I’ve always called it a sports car, but based on what you described it would be a GT I guess. I could tolerate sitting in it for a few hours.
I’d say it’s a GT but a better looking one than the 350Z which is nowhere near as good looking as the G35. So for a few thousand more, you get a “backseat” which gives you lower insurance and better looks. Not bad.
