You should look into Porshe 928 1990 and up.
One of the best looking porshe (in my opinion) and Front engined-In a porshe!-makes it easier for my to understand under the hood. also Porshe 930 is a Good looking/long lasting porsche.I believe both are around 30k for a well kept one.

oh and yes my life sucks, glad to see that you have such a high opinion of everyone beneath you that you have to ask our humble opinions. Go for the Porsche, I just got my first one, a beat to hell 89′ 944 with over 148,000 miles, I’m thirty-one, and had to use the piddly $2500.00 I got from totalling out my Plymouth Breeze to buy the closest thing I will ever own to my dream car.

Have fun driving the Porsche, you’ll probably complain about everything else you ever get in you life.

Get the boxster… im 20 years old and i also got one for my graduation. I have a friend with a bmw 335i, he even admits my boxster is much more fun to drive. O and btw.. congrats. on earning it.. i just got lucky lol. Anyway.. if you have a girl get the boxster… and if you dont.. the boxster’ll get you one much faster than the bmw.. no offence to the bmw lovers.

I’m also jealous – but I would go for the 335. It isn’t as sweet a driver, but sweet enough, and is much more practical, and will be cheaper to insure. If you’re going convertible all the way, the BMW has the advantage of the hard top, which is somewhat more secure.

Hey man, I think it’s really cool that your parents are getting you a car!

I say ignore all the haters, they’re all jealous that you can afford things that they never will have, and they are bitter.

I’d recommend that you not get a Boxster, because it’s just a really econo-box Porsche. My friend calls it the “Corolla of the Porsches!”

You want something like the 911 Turbo, or Cayman S.

Forget the 335i! Porsche is always one step up on BMW.

Whatever you choose though, have fun with your car!

I personally love my Porsche and I wouldn’t trade it but the maintenance can hurt you later down the road (Trust me there will be some) Also I don’t know if you driving record is clean (No accidents) but driving a Porsche is a killer on insurance. I drive a convertible Carrera and I pay somewhere in the low 300’s. I am not really a fan of the boxer so I would wait and look into a Lexus maybe and save a few pennies and get the speed and comfort and a little more room. Take the extra cash and get a nice appartment.

The ‘07 Boxster will put a bigger smile on your face every time you drive it – it may be lower on power but there’s a lot to be said for a combo of speed/handling. The 335i is nearly as sporty and you’ll be able to carry multiple friends at once.

CHOICE: BOXSTER.

JUSTIFICATION: You can get always get a bimmer when you need “upsize” to more room – but it’s difficult to justify “downsizing.” I’ve had an M3, M5, & 911’s so I’m speaking from experience.

The BMW is a better car for transportation, but a Porsche (preferably a cayman), would be much more fun to have in college. Remember, college is about two things: education, and the most fun you can possibly have without ruining said education.

your clearly just getting these cars for attention. not that you accally like either car. just something to impress people.so your going to college and you think that these college ladies are going to be impressed by your car. it aint high school BOY. when people see someone driving these cars they success in people. what will you say when they ask you were yoy got the car. MY DAD GOT IT FOR ME. PUSSY!!! this is when the ladies realize that youur nothing but a daddies boy. WOMEN dont fall for that, again this is college not high school. Sounds as if you lack personality so you need something to make up for it. if you had personality you would make this decision on your own instead of asking people you dont even know….how close am I. You sound like a smart kid, too smart and you dont know nothing about cars. You used your “MAN PARTY MONEY,” thats what that jew party is wright, that celebration of your man hood, to pay for this car. How does that show resposibility. Your still a boy. When you get to college, you’ll see. dont tell anyone how you got the car, it pretty pathetic. take your money that your family gave you and invest it. by the time you get out of college it will have doubled. the value of the car will also have doubled, down, lost money and value. with a 4.0 you should know this. basic business ethics. well what ever you decide will altimatley be your decision, but remember that the feeling you ultimately feel at first will wear off. its a temorary high. people will see you in it and then youll just be another boy with daddies car, because though you drive it, doesnt mean it yours. nobodies impressed by someone whos fake. By the way, if you want a true porsche, you need to get a 93′ 911 3.2 limited turbo. Mine sits in the garage. its my fun car. not a daily driver. what will you do if your friends want to hang out and you only have room for 1 more….oh! well im sure someone with a 4.0 has already thought of that. Mr. smarty…HA
